The platform MeilleursAgents.com, site specialized in real estate appraisals, made forecasts on cities whose property prices would be rising in 10 to 15 years. In order to establish a precise figure on the issue, the specialist has relied on three key points of the residential market activity: demography, job creation and elements for improving the living environment. As a reminder, from 2000 to 2016, Bordeaux was at the top of the list with the best real estate growth and prices up by 204%, or 66% more than the average of the major French cities. Then came Lyon in second place (+ 164%), then Montpellier (+ 159%), and Lille (+ 156%), all placed in front of Paris (+ 144%).
In the new study, it seems that Bordeaux, holder of 4 stars, loses ground before Lyon, Nantes and Rennes. These three cities are assumed to make between 30 and 50% more than the average of the major French cities. The capital of Gaulle made very good impression, obtaining three times the maximum score.
