Immerse yourself in the captivating world of contemporary art.

Nearly 120 people came to meet an exceptional artist, Jean-Marc CALVET at BARNES Lyon 6, 14 Quai du Général Sarrail.

Originally from Nice, this contemporary painter now exhibits all over the world. While art and brushes seemed far from his destiny, it was in Costa Rica that painting imposed itself on him as a liberation, a new way of expressing himself.

His paintings take us into his colorful world, where shapes intermingle to reveal large figures with wide-open eyes and mouths that seem to express cries. The works call out to us, making us react and arousing our curiosity, with the desire to find out more about the artist's incredible story.

The vernissage was an opportunity to meet Jean-Marc CALVET's fascinating artists in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The solo show continues at Galerie Bonnet-Abelin, 61 rue Pierre Corneille, Lyon 6, until May 5.
